After spending my whole life not knowing what these lovely, delicate little flowers were, I finally know.  They’re Quaker Ladies, or Houstonia caerulea.  I remember them growing not in any deliberate manner, but in shady and somewhat mossy areas in neighbor’s yards and in the woods.
I loved these little flowers.  Glad I know what they’re called now.
